Now in its fourth year, TEDxBuffalo is an opportunity for a diverse group of speakers to present their “Ideas Worth Spreading” to an actively engaged audience of 300 hand-picked attendees on-site, many hundreds more watching a live video feed and potentially thousands who can view the videos in perpetuity online. Several TEDxBuffalo videos over the years have gone on to have more than a thousand views — one talk from 2012 has been watched more than 52,000 times.

But TEDxBuffalo doesn’t come together overnight — or for free. It takes hundreds of volunteer hours from our committee and a significant financial outlay. In addition to the professional recording and streaming of the talks, as well as editing them for the web, renting the space, promotional materials, meals for the attendees and more add up to a high cost.

Keeping the event free is very important to us — it ensures that TEDxBuffalo stays open to everyone — so it’s only with support from our sponsors that the event can take place. That’s why we are currently seeking cash and in-kind sponsors to help cover our primary costs for this year’s event. All TEDxBuffalo sponsorship include prominent recognition leading up to and during the conference.

We’re deeply grateful for those companies, organizations and individuals that find our mission to be worthy of their financial support. If you or your company/organization would be interested in helping bring TEDxBuffalo to life, or you know someone else who might, please contact us so that we may discuss the details of sponsorship.
